Qatar Airways, Airlink sign agreement
Airlink and Qatar Airways have signed a comprehensive codeshare agreement. This offers more choices to the travelers, better services and connectivity. Currently, there’s 45 destinations in 13 countries in southern Africa and the rest of the world.
Flights now simpler with single reservation
With the new agreement, travelers can simply purchase connecting flights on both airlines with a single reservation. They’ll be able to book attractive offers from southern Africa to various places like New York, Dallas, London, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Manila, Jakarta and Cebu. The ticketing, check-in, boarding and baggage-check experience, during the entire journey will also be seamless.
From eight gateways in the region, Qatar Airways provides another connection to Airlinks extensive regional network. They’ve added eight new traveling destinations since the start of pandemic. Last year, they’ve started operating in Luanda, Harare and Lusaka. This month, they resumed operating in Windhoek (Namibia’s capital).
